First Risk Underwriters LLC is a Florida managing general underwriter (MGU). We design specialty insurance programs for complex risks that standard markets often will not cover. We prefer to offer those programs inside software systems — like point-of-sale and project management tools — so work can move forward only when the right coverage is in place.
Who We Are
We are building First Risk Underwriters as a Florida specialty MGU. That means we design and underwrite programs. Appointed insurance carriers issue the policies. We handle premium according to our agreements when appointed.

Inside software people already use — especially point-of-sale and project management systems — so a next step opens only when the right specialty program is in place. Agents and brokers remain a path; software checkpoints are our preference.
How We Work With Partners
Carriers may appoint FRU. Software partners can offer FRU programs inside their tools. Agents and brokers may submit specialty risks once appointments exist. Technology partners help distribute; they do not hold insurance authority.
